Building a community and knowledge center for parents of young children in the Nordic countries and beyond.

Challenge

Libero wanted to move their Loyalty club from the web into an app with the aim to create the best and smartest app for parents of young children in the Nordic countries today.

The process

We began by mapping the current Libero loyalty club website’s functionality and the desired new features, creating a clear picture of its present state and future goals. We prioritized the scope based on user feedback to ensure alignment with needs and project feasibility. In the ideation phase, we created and tested prototypes, refining them based on user insights. Finally, we developed a detailed UI design and a comprehensive design system, enabling consistent updates and scalability across Libero’s digital products.

My role

Led the entire design process, from mapping existing features and prioritizing user needs to creating user flows and the final design. Maintained close collaboration with developers, stakeholders, and users to ensure the app was intuitive, relevant, and on-brand.

Outcome

Delivered a modern app including a pregnancy calendar with in-depth articles, a social feed, a contraction timer, the Libero point shop and more to empower parents with the tools they need. The app was released in early 2019.
